First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid

We deliver regulated First Aid at Work, and Paediatric First Aid courses across Central Scotland at your premises, which meet the nationally agreed standards expected by the Health and Safety Executive, Department for Education and OFSTED. This ensures the training provided is suitable for organisations across many sectors including the 3rd sector, childcare related/education sector and professionals who require a first aid certificate to trade as a business (such as physiotherapists, chiropractors, and sports massage therapists).

Our teaching style involves discussive learning, linking theory to real life experience which ensures learners understand and remember the theory to be able to confidently enact the skills taught.

Engaging learners is key to delivering a successful course for both  instructor and learners.  Our courses involve learners discussing the theory, sharing lived experiences (as appropriate), being listened to when a question is asked or reflected back for further thoughts, and being an active participant for hands-on learning.

Engaging learning doesn’t end there. We use a variety of equipment and technology, which allow learners to learn from any mistakes. This enriches the learning environment and ensures everyone’s skills and knowledge is improved.
